 In line with the general weakness of share markets worldwide and in Australia, the price of Refresh shares took a beating over the last few years. Despite that, most of you, our invaluable shareholders stood by the company and held on to your shares. Your Board would like to thankyou for your unflinching support.
Our recent rights issue met with tremendous success. Our underwriter, Asia Pacific Links (BVI) Pty Ltd, did their due diligence on the company and was happy to underwrite 100% of the issue at full market price of 5 cents. This was unusual as companies typically offer a discount to induce shareholders to take up their rights issue. We are glad many shareholders agreed with them and took up 46% of the rights on offer. The inclusion of Dr Anthony Soh to our Board has helped strengthen the Company. With his wealth of experience, he has already made significant contributions in such a short period of time.
